For 2014 we are taking our women road line to the next level with the introduction of the Endurance Airen Carbon series. Utilizing our own Enhanced Performance Geometry (EPG) frame design, the Airen retains all the handling, geometry and ride characteristics of our carbon Competition platforms, with a slightly higher head tube height to put less strain on a rider’s back and neck. women’s specific, carbon, road bike, endurance bike Complimentary to the EPG is the use of our Advanced Tube to Tube (ATT) design with “Core Control”. ATT utilizes a monocoque of the head tube and down tube that is joined to a monocoque of the BB and chain stay. These two structures form the “core” of the frame. We then apply the remaining carbon tubes utilizing Carbon Welding or Tube to Tube construction. By coupling these two unique methods of frame making we create an exceptionally smooth confidence inspiring and efficient ride. Women’s specific, carbon, road bike, endurance bike We put the finishing touches on the frame with internal cable routing, carbon drop outs and a tapered headtube formed to play host to our custom DB Road Performance Carbon fork w/alloy steerer. Women’s specific, carbon, road bike, endurance bike We’ve paired the Airen 3 with a compelling spec featuring a Shimano Tiagra dual control shifters/brake levers and front derailleur, a Tiagra 4600 10spd cassette, a 105 rear derailleur and Tektro R325 dual pivot brakes.
