This is where Giro’s Republic Shoes jump in, as they pull double duty by smoothly transitioning from the bike to the street with ease. In other words, the days of packing a second set of shoes in your bag are over. Similar to other cycling shoes in Giro’s line, the Republics were made with a perforated microfiber upper for both comfort and breathability. Giro’s molded EVA footbed was also added, giving you a medium level of arch support within the shoe. A lace closure adds a bit of street style to the mix, and the DuPont nylon outsole — with 2-bolt cleat mount — provides a stiff platform for efficient pedaling. Walking pads were integrated into the outsole, which provide the necessary traction for comfortably, and safely, moving around once you’ve arrived by two wheels. The Giro Republic Shoes are available in whole and half sizes 39. 0 to 48. 0 and in the colors Black/grey, Lead/gum, and White/black.
