Mavic Aksium One Wheelset Black, Shimano/SRAM
A stand-by training wheelset for countless dedicated cyclists, the Aksium One Wheel System is also widely considered a quick, easy, and very cost-effective upgrade over your stock wheels. Of course, being Mavic, the wheelset is also beautifully executed, and clearly better-looking than anything else in its price range, and many above it, too. Bladed, straight-pull spokes. Hubs that are nearly flangeless. High-quality sealed bearings. A strong, durable, fast-engaging pawl system. Rim wear indicators built into rim sidewalls. The Aksium is a wheel that takes advantage of Mavic’s technological gains while using slightly more conventional bits to come up with a wheel that is super for its price point. The Aksium One set has 20 straight-pull spokes in both front and rear wheels. They anchor in the aluminum hub shells and are fixed to the 24mm tall 6061 aluminum rims with self-locking brass nipples. The spoke holes are drilled through the rim, and the eyelet area is hammer hardened for durability. The braking surfaces are finished with Mavic’s UB Control machining to ensure pulse-free braking. The front wheel is radially laced, while the rear is radial on the non-drive side and two-cross on the drive side for efficient torque transfer. They run on Mavic’s QRM+ high-end bearings and steel axles. The steel freehub body directs your power through Mavic’s ultra-reliable FTS-L two-pawl freehub mechanism. The Mavic Aksium One Wheelset comes in one color and with BR101 quick releases, rim strips, user guide and warranty card. Choose between a Campagnolo-compatible or a Shimano/SRAM-compatible freehub body.

Critical Cycles Women’s Beach Cruiser 1-Speed Bike, Coral
Critical Cycles wheels out their brand spankings’ new beach cruiser. Hop on and ride happy with this classic bike style reminiscent of a simpler time. The brains at Critical Cycles put ease and comfort at the top of their priority list when designing this cruiser. The hand-built steel frame bestows upon its riders the smoothest of excursions, as it’s much more absorbent than aluminum and our handlebars come up nice and high for an especially comfortable upright riding position, which is ultimately better for your back. Our lovely little lady comes in a mixte-style, making mounting and dismounting a walker, a ride in the park. The wide tires, cushy wide saddle and soft foam grips augment the easy breezy cruising you’re about to do up and down the boardwalk and all around town. This single-speed comes complete with coaster brakes, which are essentially synonymous with cruisers. The simple mechanism allows you to control your movements with your feet, like it isn’t no thing. Now, step away from your desk, close your eyes and breathe in bliss. You can see yourself on a Critical Cycles Beach Cruiser, can’t you? We know.
