The Cooker SS is an intelligent balance of high performance and affordability. A matched Tange Infinity chromoly rigid fork is lightweight and tough, and makes climbing and fast riding super-efficient. The ride’s not harsh either. Backing up this rock solid fuselage is a single speed drivetrain with an 18T cog and a Truvativ E400 crank sporting a 32T chainring and a bashguard. This gearing combination strikes an excellent balance to keep you from spinning out, just low enough to help you get over most hills and rises. Braking duties fall to an excellent set of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front, 160mm rear rotors that can slow you down in any weather, any terrain.

One more way this bike steps up over the rest of the Cooker line is the introduction of tubeless ready tires and rims. Just add sealant and the Maxxis Ardent 2.25 tires will seal beautifully to the WTB SX19 29″ rims allowing you to run pressures lower than you have ever thought possible. This lowers the rotating weight of the wheels while at the same time reducing flats and giving you more traction than any other setup.
