Conquer the competition on and off the track with the Retrospec Amok Cyclocross. Our urban warrior is cyclocross by design, but we’ve constructed it to be the ideal commuting companion, too. Whether you ride the convertible single-speed or the heftier nine-speed, our ultra-light but reinforced 4130 chromoly frame will carry you far ahead any adversaries. Trek across road and dirt alike on our beefy Kenda Small Block 8 tires, specially designed to tackle wet and dry and firm and loose ground. We’ve included a robust 3/32″ chain and chain ring and our own Retrospec thin freestyle platform pedals to withstand tough riding. The cable welding is on the top of the top tube for easy transporting. Our rear drop is forged with a derailleur hanger, ready to be customized any way you like, and the nine-speed Amok is clad with a Shimano Altus 9-speed derailleur with a microSHIFT thumb shifter. Our race-ready geometry will transport you up and down and around the asphalted streets of your urban jungle, no questions asked.

The Haanjo trail is our premier alternative road bike. Built for adventure, it is a bit of a chameleon – part commuter, part mountain road Crusher. Lightweight and durable aluminum tubes make up the frame, built with our endurance geometry configuration. Slightly relaxed, endurance geometry puts the rider in a more upright position than a traditional road bike, helping to battle fatigue and soreness on long rides. The fork is full monocoque carbon fiber with a tapered steer tube, delivering chatter-free control on the loosest of surfaces. The component package is up to the task with a Shimano ultegra 11 speed drivetrain, HED wheels, and all-purpose 40c tires. For 2016, we’ve upgraded the Haanjo trail’s brakes, with a full hydraulic disc brake system from Shimano, Giving you the highest level of modulation and stopping power available. When all is said and done, the Haanjo trail is at the top of the pack for versatility, performance, and value.

The Kestrel RT1000 is designed specifically for the road enthusiast who participates in Gran Fondos, weekend rides, or the occasional race. Our engineers were tasked with designing a smooth-riding bike that absorbs shock yet handles like a superior road bike. The result: a carbon lay-up based around our vibration-dampening Kestrel EMS Pro fork and H- Stays for a performance-optimized main frame.

Behold Nashbar’s latest road thoroughbred: the CR5. It’s ready for high performance riding – be it racing, fondos, or just spirited group rides – right out of the box with its stellar combination of full carbon fiber frame and fork, Shimano Ultegra 11-speed components, Shimano RS11 wheels, plus FSA bars, stem, brakes, and bottom bracket. The CR5 features a new and improved UD carbon fiber frame plus a full UD carbon fiber fork with tapered steerer tube. The frame’s sculpted tubing profiles coupled with a massive BB30 bottom bracket shell provide the perfect balance between incredible stiffness, light weight, as well as a smooth, responsive ride. All of the cables are internally routed for a super-clean aesthetic while the frame is also set up for Di2 electronic shifting if you ever want to make the leap from mechanical systems. And the sleek satin finish on both the frame and fork makes for quite the sharp visual statement. Component-wise, you’d be hard-pressed to find a finer choice gram for gram, dollar for dollar than Shimano’s superb Ultegra 6800 11-speed system. The CR5 features plenty of it: shift/brake levers, crankset, front derailleur, rear derailleur, and cassette. The shifting is just perfect while the compact 50/34T crankset ensures you can both tame any climb as well as contest rip roaring county line sprints. It’s definitely impressive just how well these components works as so much functionality, precision, and reliability has trickled down from big brother Dura-Ace that Ultegra is a tour de force in its own right. Shimano also cranks out remarkable wheels and the RS11s are a paragon of versatility. Their 24mm-deep aluminum rims strike a balance between aerodynamics and handling while stainless steel bladed spokes, 16 front and 20 rear, will slice through the wind with aplomb. And these wheels aren’t just for race day as they’re sturdy and reliable enough to put through the paces day-in and day-out. There’s no skimping regarding tires, too, as a se
